U.S. Consul General Kurt Tong opened the U.S. Pavilion at the Macau International Environment Co-operation Forum & Exhibition (MIECF) on March 30, 2017. The American Chamber of Commerce in Macau and the U.S. Foreign Commercial Service have co-organized a U.S. Pavilion every year since the Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute’s MIECF started in 2008. This year, six companies exhibited at the U.S. Pavilion. At the opening, Consul General Tong said, “MIECF is also a great platform for U.S. and other firms to find local partners and, together, explore markets in mainland China and beyond.”
