U.S. Consulate General to Host Free Pre-departure Orientation Seminar at Hong Kong Central Library

The U.S. Consulate General Hong Kong’s EducationUSA Advising Center will host a free pre-departure orientation seminar on Thursday, July 30 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. The event will take place at G/F, Lecture Theatre, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.

The seminar will provide advice to help new international students traveling to the United States learn how to apply for a U.S. visa, open a banking account and transmit money from Hong Kong, and will offer tips on housing and transportation options, as well as cultural adjustment.
