U.S. Consulate General Hong Kong and Macau
Didn’t know the Consulate was closed? Follow us on Twitter! Last month, American Citizen Services activated its new Twitter account just in time for the T-8 storm conditions that closed down the Consulate and most of Hong Kong and Macau on August 1, 2016. Stay informed by following us at @ACSHKMAC.
Overseas Voting: If you couldn’t make our voter registration event last month, Democrats Abroad and Republicans Overseas are organizing a nonpartisan “American Voter Registration Event” on Friday, August 26, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at The American Club (Clipper Room, Floors 48-49, Two Exchange Square, Central, Hong Kong). The U.S. Consulate General will also have staff on hand to pass out and accept Federal Post Card Applications (FPCAs) and answer any of your voter registration questions. For more information and to register, please see American Voter Registration Event.
If you can’t make the event, you can still find all the information you need to vote in the November 2016 elections at the Federal Assistance Voting Program website.
Macau Day for August — The next Macau Day consular services visit will be on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Ocean Club, Ocean Gardens/Taipa/Macau. Appointments can be made via the ACS website at: Macau Day.
