The U.S. Consulate General Hong Kong and Macau will be offering consular services for U.S. citizens in Macau on Wednesday, May 10. Consular officers will be traveling to Macau to receive minor passport applications, first-time adult passport applications, and applications for Consular Reports of Birth Abroad. We will not be providing notarial services during our visit.
Appointments will be required to obtain services in Macau. Please email acshk@state.gov to request an appointment. In your email, please make sure to include the following information:
- Type of service required
- Full name of applicant
- Date of birth of applicant
- Full names of all other individuals who will attend the appointment (e.g. parents of minors).
Our team will schedule your appointment on a first-come, first-served basis. You will receive an email confirmation with your scheduled appointment time and the location venue. We are unable to accommodate changes to your appointment time.
Payment: Applicants may pay their application fees with cash in U.S. dollars only. We will not be able to provide change or keep any excess amount, so please make sure you have the exact amount for the service you need. Applicants may also pay with a bank draft or cashier’s check that is payable to “USDO Symbol 8768,” drawn in U.S. dollars from a bank in the United States, and issued within the last five months. The amount on the check must match the services you are applying for, otherwise we cannot accept it and you will have to obtain a new check.
If you have any questions, you may reach us at acshk@state.gov. We look forward to seeing you next week.
